Kerrianne Wallace At Alcorn State University

Kerrianne Wallace started as a Color Guard Flag Twirler with the East Orange Unified Marching Band, but decided she wanted to take up playing the Sousaphone instead when she entered Cicely Tyson High School in 2010. She played for four years, worked hard, and it paid off. This year (2014) she was accepted into Alcorn State University of Mississippi where she will be playing Sousaphone for the Alcorn Dyn-O-Mite Marching Band and majoring in, what else? Music!

Kerrianne is very excited to be part of the band at Alcorn and sent us many photos of her uniform before we got to see her standing between her fellow Sousaphone players. We look forward to following her career, wherever it may lead her, knowing that she has what it takes to succeed.
